Prof. Shenghui SONG selected as recipient of the Michael G. Gale Medal for Distinguished Teaching 2018

Prof. Shenghui SONG of ECE has been selected as the recipient of the Michael G. Gale Medal for Distinguished Teaching at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2018 for his excellence in teaching. This is the highest recognition for teaching at HKUST and an honor for Prof. Song and our Department. The Medal will be presented to Prof Song at the congregation in November 2018. 
 
The Michael G. Gale Medal for Distinguished Teaching was established by the University Council in 1994 to commemorate the late Founding Council Member, Mr. Michael G. Gale, for his distinguished service and outstanding contributions to the development of the University. The Medal is awarded each year at the University's Congregation to a member of the academic staff who best exemplifies continued pursuit of excellence, devotion to teaching, and the ability to inspire and motivate others. The recipient is representative of the high quality of teaching and learning that the University offers and promotes.
 
It will be the fourth award that ECE's faculty members have received since the Michael G. Gale Medal for Distinguished Teaching has been established
